I should also mention that there other ways of entering this competition than posting here. Therefore, while I dont have any idea of what has been sent in or what the other guys like for this, this thread represents a sub-set of possibilities, and the winner may or may not come from here.

Its not that nothing has grabbed our attention.
Quite the reverse - we like a lot of the ideas that have come forward, both here and via the forms available from Salute.

However, Doug hasn't had a chance to advertise the competition as fully as planned (and there have been issues with getting the PDF flyer from Salute online), and we dont like to think that we're missing out on entries from further afield because of this, if they're likely to be as good as the ones we have thus far!

No worries guys.
My comment was off the cuff and not meant to be taken seriously.
Steve.

Competition Deadline:

With various things finally getting done, the competition has a final date for 30th June 2008. I have had quite suggestions and they are all starting to get really interesting. Keep it up and good luck

Doug

In the vaining hours...

So, this is another alien race then? A bug hunt?
Hm... Hivemind, ants but eightlegged bugs, bees but more like armoured wasps?
Workers, warriors, drones and queen?

Critters / Defenders - Brd'Klu

Leapers - Gin'Ka

Claw Beasts - Tsh'Ka

Worker Beasts - Vrk'Klu

Vampire Beasts - Vhr'Klik'Zho

Not sure, but somehow that sound as a human interpretation of what those mandibles and exoskeletons might make sounds like?

Happy Go!
Erik
