Dark Realm Miniatures
Dark Realm has been around since 2006 with its main project being huge 6mm battles in the form of Seeds of War. It has been hard work with help from a number of people to create miniatures, the website, rules, artwork, the background and articles. Calling the project an enormous undertaking is an understatement and the goal is still a long way away but it is slowly coming together and what was a mere thought is becoming reality.

The universe that we are creating is vast and will allow for a lot of ideas and see some really fascinating races being developed. It is a big venture and work has already progressed to provide a different aspect to it all through the creation of Hostile Stars. Hostile Stars is another part of the DRM project where people will be able to combine it with Seeds of War for some heavy campaigning.

Seeds of War and Hostile Star
It is always great to have cool miniatures but there is nothing like having a load of fun with friends blowing things up and enjoying a good game using them. I enjoy other 6mm scale games and have quite a collection for myself, so my idea for new minis didn’t really include the idea of a game. However, as the original DRM team was formed, a rules set became a must and Seeds of War was developed, and now just recently Hostile Stars is starting to take shape. With all the material and research being done it is a very exciting time and I can´t wait for the moment it all starts to fit into place and takes shape on the website.



The rules for both games currently cater for the three races we have available; Pax Arcadia, Andrayada and Kraytonians, with Seeds of War guides written and made available by Paul Townsend. Bob Naismith has and still is doing a fine job sculpting our miniatures and Hostile Stars is being looked after by Iain, who is well known in the Epic community, and I do the rest with the help of various people.


This is what Dark Realm Miniatures is all about, and although people come and go and the company is small, the aim is still the same as it was before – bringing huge 6mm battles to life. All your support, both now and in the future, is put into making sure that we do the best we can and make this all worthwhile for everyone involved, including yourselves.
